this was back in 1915 in WWI. They played this during the trench wars.
It would loop for days, weeks, months.
So I decided to modernize it. This is byfar the hardest poem I've ever written. Enjoy...

It seems this is so true, right?  I can only wonder about people younger then I am that are completely obsessed with the internet, and never even think about doing things elsewhere.  I can get sucked into it once in a while, and spend the better part of a day browsing....but in my case, some of that also comes from never having money to really go do anything else. I some times ride my bike into the city proper, or to a shopping are where I live, and just window shop, but even then, I'm faced with the fact that if I go out for more then a few hours, I will have to spend money on eating out. But even then, once I've caught up on what I consider to be business online, I can get bored with it.  That is usually when I go on cleaning sprees. (Can't afford to go out *sigh*, internet has nothing interesting *sigh*I've already read all of these books.....cleaning time!)

Some how though, I've never fully gotten into the idea of being completely surrounded by the internet all of the time. When I leave my apartment, I do bring my phone, but usually it's a book on my phone I am reading, not the internet. I don't really have too many sites I am interested in visiting on my phone. I do however enjoy having a mobile google in my pocket for the cases where I need to look something up, or have a random blast of inquisitiveness on a topic.

And I still get excited by the prospect of going out with friends or....spending a three days, with out the internet at all, out in the woods at an old military fort, using my imagination with other people to make up fantasy stories! Whoo!
